Chapter 6. Electrochemical Impedance of Single Flow Cells Figure 6.16: Nyquist plots recorded on a one-container symmetric cell containing 0.1 M K3[Fe(CN)6]+0.1 M K4[Fe(CN)6] dissolved in 1 M KCl adjusted to pH 12 with KOH. The impedance was recorded from 100 kHz to 30 mHz at a cell temperature of 35 ◦C and flow rates ranging from 10–90 mL min−1. the fit results of the impedance recorded at 50 mL min−1; the remaining eight spectra and their corresponding best fit models are shown in Figure E.2 in Appendix E. With the addition of the RQ element, the model was able to predict the impedance well, and both the Kramers-Kronig test and relative residuals are closely spaced around 0 %. Figure 6.17: Results from the CNLS fit of the 0.1M/0.1M ferri-/ferrocyanide impe- dance recorded at 50 mL min−1 presented in Figure 6.16. (a) Experimental and modelled Nyquist plots. (b) Experimental and modelled semi-logarithmic Bode plots of the ima- ginary impedance. (c) Kramers-Kronig test residuals. (d) Relative fit residuals. 104PDF Image | Organic Redox Flow Batteries 2023
