Figure 95 and Figure 96 show the compressor and turbine sets’ power distributions, respectively. Moreover, Figure 97 shows the total power for turbine, compressor, and generator. As seen in this figure, the fluctuation amplitudes for turbine, compressor, and generator are approximately 5%, 5%, and 8%, respectively. It is also noticeable that the generator power profile looks very similar to the fuel schedule. Figure 98 shows the engine thermal efficiency. It is seen that in the beginning of the cycle, efficiency drops about 2% compared to the design point efficiency (45%). After that it oscillates between 42% and 43%. The reason for this decline is that the engine is performing on a higher average fuel flow compared to the design point.
