It is significant to note here that the Control System Design task requires input from every other major engine module design task. Hence, the entire engine must be nearly designed in order to provide input to the control system design process, i.e. to define the control system requirements. Historically, the approach taken in a schedule-driven program (nearly all programs are schedule-driven) is to make assumptions for requirements based on the best available data.
