The broad and low peak in the carbonized material curve at 1686 cm−1 can be attrib- uted to the C=C band. The aliphatic C–N group presented at 1220 cm−1, in the blue curve, continues to be verified in the black curve, in the same location, but shows less elongation. The peak of the aliphatic CH, observed in the curve of electrospun material at 1360 cm−1, ends up suffering a displacement to 1320 cm−1, in the car- bonized PAN curve; however, it remains corresponding to the CH band [18, 20]. In both curves in Fig. 3, several small peaks are observed, and it could be due to device sensitivity or the presence of noise. 13
