Across the board the Sanden units perform with a higher COP than the Rheem units – 2.7 versus 1.8. On average, both technologies performed with a COP of 1.5 or better in every month of the study including the coldest winter months. 15 HDD65 values are from 2017 ASHRAE Handbook: Fundamentals (IP), Appendix: Design Conditions for Selected Locations. 8
