Experimental results: Emissions of the Stirling engine CHP unit Emissions of the Stirling engine at Centria research unit were continuously monitored by using a FTIR (Fourier Transformed InfraRed spectroscopy) gas analyzer (Gasmet Dx4000N). FTIR spectroscopy is a spectroscopic method that compares the absorbed energy from an infrared source of light. Gasmet FTIR gas analyser is commonly used for continuous emission monitoring (CEMS) in large combustion plants (LCP) and waste incinerators.
