During summer periods (February to April), the amount of solar radiation collected by the LFR system in Abuja is slightly higher than in Bangkok and so the output temperature shows to be higher. The storage temperature shows to be almost the same as a result of the ambient temperature. More heat is lost to the ambient in Abuja as the ambient temperature is slightly low but in Bangkok less heat is lost to the ambient. During the wet season (July to October), the systems in both regions experience similar effects as the temperatures are similar. The storage temperature in Bangkok is seen to be at the same level as the storage temperature in Abuja. This is as a result of the ambient temperature. More rainy days are experienced in Abuja and so more heat is lost to the ambient. The useful energy delivered by the solar LFR shows the same trend as the received beam radiation collected by the receiver. The higher the amount of beam radiation, the higher the delivered energy by the solar LFR collector as seen in figs. 5a and 5b.
