TEST EQUIPI'IENT The Lysholm Engine The Lysholm engine is a positive displacement device capable of run- ning on fluid mixtures of any quality. It consists of two parallel inter- meshing rotory shafts supported a t either end bj.bearings, fitted with floating carbon ring seals, and connected with Liming gears (Fig 1). When the fluid enters the inlet port, it sees a volume of 13.8 cubic inches formed by the casing and meshing rotors.
