Intermittent generation expected from g59 to mid-August so a flexible contract with reduced risk of non-generation penalties is key. g59 test delayed due to difficulties in scheduling the attendance of DNo, CHP commissioning engineers and testing engineers. July 2012 Finally complete g59 – all generation is now revenue! Begin ofgem accreditation process, sending off commissioning and test certificates. Power generation is intermittent as gas production grows in the digesters. august 2012 steady base load generation with over seven days of full capacity generation. Beating milestones is good for the soul - and the bank account! Accreditation enquiries continue as process moves slowly through ofgem offices. september 2012 Flurry of activity in final days - ofgem accreditation granted and first FIT quarter meter readings submitted. Achieve steady CHP operation at high output levels in the second half of the month (25% increase in production over August) and gas production evens out. everything looking good as power generation and export moves out of start up and into smooth operation.
