Tahir received his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Communication from the University of Tokyo, Japan in 1991 and his Master of Engineering degree from Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT), Niigata, Japan in 1997. Both in Mechanical Engineering. Currently, he is a PhD candidate at the Graduate School of Energy and Environment Science, NUT. He is also an academic staff of Malaysia University of Technical, Melaka (UTeM). His current research interest is energy recovery from waste heat. Noboru Yamada received his doctorate in Engineering form the Department of Aeronautics and Space Engineering, Tohoku University, Japan in 1999. He is currently pursuing research in efficient utilization of solar energy (solar, thermal, and photovoltaic), energy storage systems (flywheel energy storage, thermal energy storage, etc.), and energy recovery from low-temperature heat. Currently he is an Associate Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department of NUT, Japan. The selected papers that he had published are N. Yamada, A. Hoshi, and Y.
