In case 2, by closing pumps 1, 2 and opening 2, 4, 5 valves, the heat will be stored in PCM storage system. In case 3, the heat from storage system will be used by opening valves 1 and 3. One other great potential application of solar ORCs is in small scale remote power systems. This new technology is discussed in “Micro scale application of ORC down to 1KW” section.
