After lunch (Dean and Bill were my guests), we toured the Redstone property, the Two Rivers Park, and the Confluence Triangle so that I could get a “feel” for the setting of their ideas, the site configurations and status’, and the distances from the sites to the 11-12 potential district heating end-users. One thing to be noted is that pipe runs will be moderately long (up to ~0.5 miles), burial will have to contend with existing subsurface utilities, and the Railroad right-of- way will have to be crossed. River crossings will be relatively easy and can be accomplished by hanging pipe(s) beneath existing well-built bridges. The meetings and the tour took longer than I expected, but I think that all parties benefited. Dean and Bill are very enthusiastic and extremely helpful.
