4 ORC-PROSESSIN SOVELLUS TVO:N LAUHDELÄMMÖN HYÖDYNTÄMISEEN Tässä kappaleessa käydään läpi prosessin toiminta TVO:lla vallitsevissa olosuhteis- sa. Tehdään esimerkkilaskelma ja käsitellään prosessia eri kiertoaineella sekä eri lämpönieluilla. 4.1 Laskentavaihtoehtoja Excel-taulukkolaskentaohjelmalla Excel-ohjelma, jolla tämän työn prosessin toiminta on laskettu, on peräisin Lappeen- rannan teknillisestä yliopistosta. Tästä ohjelmasta on lähdetty kehittämään varsinaista laskentaohjelmaa. Ohjelma oli alun perin kehitetty oppilaiden käyttöön harjoitustöis- sä. Toimintaperiaatteena tässä ohjelmassa oli ottaa energiaa talteen kattilan savukaa- suista ORC-prosessin avulla. Laskentaohjelmassa oli otettu myös huomioon turbiinin jälkeisen tulistuneisuuden poisto rekuperaattorilla. Ohjelmassa oli mahdollisuus tar- kastella vain yksiä lämpötila-arvoja kerrallaan. Ohjelmaa muutettiin niin, että se ky- kenee laskemaan prosessin tilapisteet ja sitä kautta tehot kokonaiselle vuodelle tren- din mukaan. Ohjelmaan pitää ainoastaan siirtää koko vuoden lämpötilatiedot, joiden mukaan ohjelma laskee saavutettavat tehot. Ohjelmaan liitettiin myös NIST:in (Na- tional institute of standards and technology) kokoaman Refprop kirjastotietokannan. Kirjastotietokannan avulla Excel kykenee etsimään eri kiertoaineilla paineet, lämpö- tilat, entropian ja entalpian eri lähtötietojen perusteella. Tämä nopeuttaa laskentapro- sessia huomattavasti. 4.2 Esimerkkilaskelma kiertoaineena NH3 Esimerkkilaskelmassa on valittu olosuhteiksi lämmönlähteeseen 14,47 °C sekä lauh- duttimen jäähdytysvedeksi 0,0 °C merivesi. Kieroaineeksi on valittu Ammoniakki. Olosuhde on edullisin ammoniakille Excel-laskentaohjelman mukaan. Lämpimän meriveden virtaus höyrystimenä toimivan lämmönvaihtimeen on valittu 100 kg/s. Lämmönvaihtimien, jotka toimivat höyrystimenä sekä lauhduttimena, ominaisuudet on valittu Excel-laskentaohjelmalla optimoimalla.
