4.4.2 Lämmön vienti ORC-prosessista ORC-prosessin lauhdutin voidaan TVO:n olosuhteissa toteuttaa kahdella tavalla. En- simmäinen tapa on käyttää lauhduttimessa kylmää merivettä, jota saadaan ydinvoi- malan tulovesikanavasta puhdistuslinjojen jälkeen. Kyseinen tapa on käsitelty edelli- sissä kohdissa, niin että lauhduttimena toimivan lämmönvaihtimen arvot olivat samat kuin höyrystimenä olevan lämmönvaihtimen. Tämä siksi että molemmat lämmön- vaihtimet voivat toimia samalla periaatteella. Toisena tapana on käyttää lauhduttimen jäähdytteenä kylmää ilmaa. Kylmän ilman ansiosta on mahdollista saada aikaan suurempi lämpötilaero prosessiin. Suurempi lämpötilaero tarkoittaa parempaa Carnot-hyötysuhdetta.
