Ammoniakin kiertoaineen virtaus pysyy 1 kg/s tasossa tilanteesta riippumatta, mutta hiilidioksidilla virtaus vaihtelee 5,49–16,27 kg/s välillä. Hiilidiok- sidin osalta prosessin korkein paine on yli 70 bar, mikä tuo prosessin materiaaleille omat vaatimuksensa. Ammoniakilla vastaavasti korkein paine on noin 12 bar. Ammoniakki on huomattavasti helpompi prosessin ohjauksen kannalta vakaudestaan johtuen. Mikäli höyrystimen läpi ajetaan 100 kg/s lämmintä merivettä, tuottaa edellä kuvattu prosessi ammoniakilla 160 MWh/a vuodessa ja vastaavasti hiilidioksidilla 145 MWh/a.
