Ammoniakki kiertoaineisen ORC prosessin tehot ilma- ja vesi- jäähdyteteisellä lauhduttimella päivämäärän funktiona. Polynomiset trendiviivat ovat kuvaamassa keskitehoa. Jos koko ydinvoimalan tuottama lämmin merivesi saataisiin utopistisesti ajateltuna, käytettyä ORC-prosessin lämmönlähteeksi, tarkoittaisi se noin 48000 MWh/a tuot- toa. Mikä tarkoittaa 0,34 % talteenottoa mereen menevästä hukkaenergiasta. Kor- vaamalla lauhduttimen jäähdytys ilmalla päästään 68000 MWh/a tuottoon, joka vas- taa 0,48 % hyötysuhdetta. Vuonna 2009 laskennallisesti OL1:sellä energiaa meni mereen noin 1780 GWh. Vuonna 2009 OL1 laitoksen läpi menevän meriveden lämpötila nousi keskimäärin 13 °C.. OL3:sen vastaavaksi lämpötilaksi on laskettu 12 °C, joten lämpötiloista on vähennettävä yksi aste jotta voidaan riittävällä tarkkuudella laskea OL3:selta saata- van ORC-prosessin teho. OL3:sen meriveden virtaus lauhduttimen läpi tulee ole- maan n. 52,7 m3/s. (Suullinen tiedonanto 6.4.2011). Mikäli laskentaohjelmaan syötetään suoraan OL3 merivesivirtaukset sekä oletetut lämpötilat, niin päästään vesilauhduttimella 0,30 % hyötysuhteeseen sekä ilmalauh- duttimella 0,46 % hyötysuhteeseen. Laskentaohjelmassa vuosihuolto jätettiin vastaa- vaksi, kuin OL1 vuoden 2009 revisio. OL3 revisioista ei vielä tiedetä, joten tämä menettely lienee riittävän tarkka.
