Figure 7.15 shows the optimum reactor inlet temperatures. The curve shapes are affected by the 20oC step that was taken during the calculation. It is apparent that introducing one re-heat stage significantly increases the optimum reactor inlet temperature, but additional stages of re-heat do not have significant impact.
