The mass flow of the HS and WF will remain the same regardless of the season but the CS mass flow will always be higher in summer because the temperatures of the ocean are higher – we need more mass flow to retrieve the same amount of power with lower temperature differences. 2.2.1 Software: Cycle-Tempo Cycle-Tempo is a computer program developed by TU Delft (Delft University of Technology). The program is, as described by their authors, “a modern tool for the thermodynamic analysis and optimization of energy systems” [Ref. 32].
