We have found several values from different sources and each of them would lead to a different result of CO2 amount saved per year. The summary of these values can be found in Table H.1. Only the first value (from International Energy Agency) was used in Chapter 5.1 because it is direct (not obtained by calculation) and it comes from a very reliable source.
