Calculations also shows that with a fuel price of 15 €/MWh the COE will decrease to 96 €/MWhel. Compared to other technologies discussed in this study the BG100 has a low COE, especially considering the relatively small size of the plant. Hence, further up scaling could make this technology very competitive for the future small-scale CHP market. Compower Compower AB is a Swedish company currently developing an EFGT-module, (see Figure 2.14 Compower AB, EFGT cycle, [33]) with heat and electrical powers of 7 kWel and 17 kWth respectively. At present the module has only operated with natural gas as fuel. Currently developers at the company are conducting experiment to use the technology in combination with a pellet boiler.
