References in Baltic States Consultant services for the implementation of a biomass cogeneration plant for an independent and cost-efficient supply of renewable energy for an industrial producer in Latvia. The customer intends to build an ORC-biomass CHP plant at its production location in Latvia in 2010 to 2011. The plant will utilize approximate 35.000 tons renewable raw materials (residual materials of the production process, combined with forest residual chips) per year. The plant shall be operated in combined heat and power generation. More than 75% of the produced heat (approximate 82.000 MWh/a) will be used for heating the production facilities. More than 80% of the generated electric power will be sold to the power supply company at statutory raised tariffs in accordance with the legal regulation No. 198 of the Latvian Cabinet of Ministers (Provisions on the generation of electricity from renewable resources and on the determination of prices) for 20 years.
