Performance characteristics are defined in terms of various input conditions of the heat source and heat sink. The performance characteristics can then be used for selecting appropriate rural Alaska diesel gen sets for this ORC system and planning waste heat distributions for optimal returns from waste heat applications. Operation and performance parameters to be detected and collected for this test are summarized into five groups and listed in Table 3. Besides the measurement devices equipped with the ORC system, measurement devices for all the other parameters listed in Table 3 need to become available through purchasing or other means.
