In addition to grant funding, tax credits and incentives are available for residential renewable energy and efficiency projects through the Federal ENERGY STAR Program for projects installed before December 31, 2016. This is not a complete list, but it can at least offer a starting place for finding financial resources for renewable energy and efficiency projects. Finding where to start is one of the most difficult steps, and hopefully these resources can provide the first stepping stone in developing a successful project that will benefit your community.
