The cleaning apparatus as de?ned in claim 4 fur thercomprising: ?lter means for removing volatile contaminants from gases in said ?rst conduit means. 6. The cleaning apparatus as de?ned in claim 5 25 whereinsaidapparatusfurthercomprises: condenser means for condensing ?ltered gas from said?ltermeans. 7. The cleaning apparatus as de?ned in claim 4 wherein the drum iscylindrical and issupported by at withtemperaturechangemeansoperativelyassoci 30 leasttwosetsofrollersandwhereinsaidcleaningvessel a scalable cleaning vessel de?ning a compartment atedtherewithforadjustingthetemperaturewithin saidcompartment; a rotatable drum adapted to receive the substrate, the drum being positionable inside the cleaning vessel compartment, the substrate being selectably in contact with densi?ed ?rst gas when within the compartment; a storage vessel in ?uid communication with the com partment; a gas vaporizer vessel in ?uid communication with the compartment, wherein the storage vessel is in 45 50 55 65 further comprises motive means for rotating the drum, the motive means having a drive that ismagnetically coupled to said drum. 8. The cleaning apparatus as de?ned in claim 7 wherein the motive means includes a motor that causes said drum to rotate. 9.
