However, a total of more than 300,000 tons of zeolitic tuff is mined each year in the United states, Japan, China, Italy, Hungary,Bulgaria,Yugoslavia,Mexico,Korea,Canadaand Germany. Itis.apparentthattheapplicationofzeoliteasa 35 major component in production of lightweight concrete products and binding material for waste stabilization will bene?t the construction industry and environmental engi neering in general. We claim: 1.A lightweightconcreteproductcomprising40-100wt. %cementingmaterialand0-60wt.%aggregate,andhaving45 drybulkdensity300-1600kg/m3andcompressivestrength 0.3-35MPa after3-6hoursautoclavecuringat170°—180° C. or after 8-14 hours moist-curing at 75°-85° C., or after 28 days moist-curing at 23° C., wherein said cementing material comprises about 50-80 wt. % of zeolite which is 50 either non-calcined or calcined above 800° C., 20-49 wt. % Portlandcementandl-8wt.% strengtheningagent. 2.Thelightweightconcreteproductaccordingtoclaim1, having compressive strength 10-35 MPa and dry bulk density1000-1600kg/m3,whereinthecementingmaterial55 comprisesabout50-80wt.% zeolite,20-49wt.% Portland cement,0-5wt.% lime,0-10wt.% silica?ourandl-8wt. % strengtheningagent. 3. The product of claim 1, wherein said aggregate is crushedzeoliterockhavingthesizeof2-6mm indiameter, 60 or normal construction sand. 4. The product of claim 1, wherein said strenghtening agent is at least one compound selected from the group consistingofsodiumsulphate,calciumsulphate,potassium sulphate and sodium nitrate. 65 5.Theproductofclaim1,whereinthestrengtheningagent issodium sulphate. 7. The product according to claim 1, further comprising wollastonite mineral ?ber in the amount of 10—20% by total weightofzeoliteandPortlandcementinsaidcementing material. 8. The product according to claim 1, wherein at least 75 wt. % of said zeolite have a particle size less than about 0.175 mm. 9. A lightweight concrete product comprising 40-100 wt. % cementingmaterialand0-60wt.% aggregate,andhaving dry bulk density 1000-1600 kg/m3 and compressive strength 4-18 MPa after 3-6 hours autoclave curing at 170°-180° C. or after 8-14 hours moist-curing at 75°—85° C.,orafter28daysmoist-curingat23°C.,whereinthe cementingmaterialcomprises60-80wt.% zeolitewhichis either non-calcined or calcined at above 800° C. 10-20 wt % lime,0-15wt% silicaflourandl-8wt.% strengthening agent. 10. The product of claim 9, wherein said aggregate is crushedzeoliterockhavingthesizeof2-6mm indiameter, or normal construction sand. 11. The product of claim 9, wherein said strenghtening agent is at least one compound selected from the group consistingofsodiumsulphate,calciumsulphate,potassium sulphate and sodium nitrate. 12. The product according to claim 9, wherein the strengthening agent is sodium sulphate. 13. The product according to claim 9, further comprising wollastonitemineral?berintheamountof10—20%bythe weight of zeolite in said cementing material. 14. The product according to claim 9, wherein at least 75 wt. % of said zeolite have a particle size less than about 0.175 mm. 15.A lightweightconcreteproductcomprising40-100 wt. % cementing material and 0-60 wt. % aggregate, and having compressive strength 0.3-12 MPa and dry bulk density of 300-1100 kg/m3 after 3-6 hours of autoclave curing at 170°- 180° C., wherein the cementing material comprises55-79wt.%ofzeolitecalcinedat400°—600°C., 20-44 wt. % Portland cement, 0-5 wt. % lime, 0-10 wt. % silica?ourand1-8wt.% strengtheningagent. 16. The product according to claim 15, wherein said aggregateiscrushedzeoliterockhavingthesizeof2-6 mm indiameter,ornormalconstructionsand. 17. The product according to claim 15, wherein said strengthening agent is at least one compound selected from the group consisting of sodium sulphate, calcium sulphate, potassium sulphate and sodium nitrate. 18.Theproductaccordingtoclaim15,furthercomprising a superplasticizer effective to increase the strength of said bindingmaterial,intheamountof0.5-1.5% bytotalweight 5,494,513 16 6.Theproductaccordingtoclaim1,furthercomprisinga superplasticizer e?ective to increase the strength of said bindingmaterial,intheamountof0.5-1.5% bytotalweight of the zeolite and Portland cement in said cementing mate rial.
