Historically, steam power plants have been used for medium to high temperature waste heat recovery. 2). Organic Rankine Cycle At lower temperature, instead of steam power cycle, organic Rankine cycle with organic substances as working fluids has been employed, since at the low- temperature waste heat may not provide sufficient superheating for the running of turbine. 3).
