Co-authored book: Abundance (2012) Bold ideas that are merely credible “would be dismissed out of hand” (p. 99). The bold vision seems too big to achieve when starting from nothing. Exponential technologies grow slowly at first when the doubling is small; can be easily dismissed or overlooked. Supercredibility is a high threshold – higher than mere credibility – where “the idea is so convincing that your mind accepts it as fact and your focus shifts from probabilities to implications” (p. 98). Staging breaks down a vision into chunks with subgoals (p. 103). "Exponential technology is not just putting linear companies out of business, it's also putting linear industries out of business. It's shifting the entire landscape, disrupting traditional industrial processes" (p. 17). Endorsement from successful exemplars: Richard Branson, Elon Musk, Larry Page and Jeff Bezos “exemplify the central idea in this book, exhibiting a commitment to bold that's fierce, enduring, and masterfully executed" (p. 115).
