It should be noted that the desorption temperature selected for this parametric study is 100°C, considering the safety concerns regarding use of an organic flammable liquid at higher temperatures. It can be seen that the viscosity of PAO is at least an order of magnitude greater than that of water, which impedes HTF flow during the desorption and cooling stages. 51
