In this case, it is not possible to know a priori which constant evaporating temperature will be optimal for the process. This regulation strategy requires two measurements: Δ T ex , ev and T ev (Figure 91). Optimum evaporating temperature As shown in section 5.2 , an optimum evaporating temperature can be determined for given working conditions. Three inputs are sufficient to determine this evaporating temperature: the condensation temperature, the heat source temperature and the heat source flow rate. However, it is important to base the control system on variables that are easily measurable.
