the improvements realized through electrolyte purification, the cell performance remains poor: total accessed capacity, even during the first cycle, is limited (~60%) and discharge capacity decay rate is rapid (e.g., ≈ 50% in approximately 100 cycles), indicating high rates of irreversible capacity loss persist (as the discharge capacity was not recoverable via electrolyte rebalancing).
