The greatest reductions were achieved when the CO2 pressure was 15 MPa and was not dependent upon the processing time, with the Tg being approximately 390 K. Reductions in Tg were less substantial when the processing temperature was greater than Tc. When the molecular chains are randomly oriented, as opposed to being regularly ordered into well-defined crystal structures, there is a greater free volume through which the CO2 may enter.
